ASAM-sa is a limited company
with capital of one billion CFA francs, created on September 14, 2006. It is the result of a public-private partnership (PPP), in which the State holds 51% of the capital, the private sector 30%, the historical staff 4% and EHM 15%.
ASAM-SA is regulated by the OHADA Uniform Act. As its name suggests, ASAM (Assistance Aéroportuaire du Mali) is responsible for handling aircraft on the ground at Mali's 5 airports open to international traffic (Bamako, Kayes, Mopti, Timbuktu and Gao).
ASAM-SA has been ISAGO-certified since 2016, and has regularly renewed this certificate every two years. It has also been RA-3 validated since 2015, enabling companies to export freight to European Union countries from the Bamako station..
